I’m not done reading, I just had to stop and say something really quick. Being Audacious will change your life. The audacity to just do what you put your mind too. I started a new instagram account posting about the things that I love. It took me 7+yrs to say I don’t care what happens to actual doing this thing. I had so much fear of failing at it, so been seen trying something that it held me back so much. Now that I did the thing, I feel so relaxed and happy with myself. Be Audacious everybody. Be Audacious. Back to reading…..
Reading this gave me a little more push to start taking the first step on pursuing the things I want to do. I want to do them first for myself, so I can make my younger self proud, then eventually the right people will resonate with my work.
I’ve literally made it my goal since late last year to increase my opportunities in luck. I applied for side jobs I am somewhat under qualified for, started to draw and post again, and even started my own small journaling club! I realize all of it paid off months after I made those efforts, so it doesn’t hurt to just try, just do it, and see what follows.
A reminder I keep telling myself to keep going, the universe will not plant ideas you are incapable of executing, especially if those ideas come again and again.
I really like the whole 'be a bit delusional' paired with flipping rejection into a challenge. Kind of makes it fun?! Seems a good way to trick yourself into going out of your comfort zone! Okay, going to go and make some luck ✨
Wow, I love this so much! It made me realize that I like change in small increments.. I’ll definitely plant these little seeds of change, and create this luck by design.
Thank you for this beautiful article. I just have to give your writing (and Substack generally) a big credit for inspiring me to create more opportunities. It's so energising to read about how others leap out to follow their dreams. And as I get more and more into it, I feel increasingly addicted to building connections despite the twitch of discomfort of reaching out at first. As you said it's just about being kind and that's a lot of fun. 😊🫶🏻

Love it! In general, you should keep an open mind so that you’re more likely to get “lucky”💌
